My name is Court and I am the owner and head coach at LEGACY 31. I started my martial arts training at 6, and have over 20 years of combined experience, many of which I have spent competing professionally and coaching full-time. I am a passionate athlete and a very personable coach who teaches not only from my success but also my failures. I created LEGACY 31 in 2023 in memory of my brother and in pursuit of my dreams and ambitions to be a world-class athlete, at a world-class gym, with world-class people all in my hometown of Valdosta, GA.

Coach Chris Tippins moved from Littlerock, Arkansas back to Georgia around 2016. After the move, Chris stopped by what was then White Tiger Martial Arts Academy for a trial class, but he was no beginner. While in Litlerock, Chris trained under the prestigious Rolly Delgado at West Side MMA. Chris had been a world champion at Blue Belt, had several MMA fights along with a professional debut, and even experienced running his own gym outside of Littlerock called Eclipse. Eventually, Chris became a coach at WTMA. This was when I met Chris and he has been my coach and teammate since!

Zia teaches our Ladies Only class on Mondays at 5:45 pm while assisting in other classes. She is a skilled competitor with tons of heart, commitment, and a mean guillotine choke! The team wouldn't be complete without her and she is ready to help you in your BJJ Journey!

John is our local Texan! He teaches our Breakfast Club classes (Mon-Wed-Friday @ 6:00 am). Ask him about his business known as The Burrow. He helps people with fitness goals, nutrition, and more. John is a valuable asset to our team and we are proud to have him!

Trinity Eady is one of our assistant coaches and head coach of the kids 3-5-year-old classes! Eady Is great with the kids and loves to provide a fun and safe learning environment with great instruction and leadership!
